Cleaning the stove and oven
The cooktop and oven are the primary tools we all use to cook food, and as such, they require impeccable cleanliness and hygiene. It's very important to keep your stove clean to prevent the growth of bacteria and germs.
In order to act thoroughly, it's necessary to remove the grates and burners to have freedom of movement to clean the cooktop. But what's the trick to getting a shiny oven and stove? The method is actually very simple and takes less time than you might think. All you need is a liter of boiling water, a thick and sturdy paper towel, a brush, some degreaser, and more or less abrasive steel wool sponges. Let's see together how to do it.
Here's how to make them shine.
When it comes time to deep clean the kitchen, the oven and stove demand maximum cleanliness. The process can begin with the burners. Pour a liter of boiling water into a large bowl and soak the burners. Be careful not to insert the plates as well as this would create rust. These can be easily cleaned dry, using a rough steel sponge and dish soap. Once cleaned, rinse with running water and dry carefully. To make the burners shinier, you can rub a paper towel soaked in a little olive oil on top.
Next, it's time to clean the grates. For these, simply cover the entire part to be cleaned with a damp paper towel. Then, you'll need to spray the degreaser onto the paper towel and let it sit for at least 15 to 30 minutes. Meanwhile, you can proceed with the same method for the oven. In this case as well, use sturdy and damp paper towels and spray degreaser as needed to let it work. During the degreaser's action time, you can drain the burners and proceed with cleaning using dish soap and a toothbrush. The soaking time in boiling water will have softened all the residues and limescale, allowing you to clean more quickly and easily.
After 30 minutes, remove the paper towel where you'll see that all the surface dirt has remained attached. For tougher deposits, you can remove residues with an extra-fine steel sponge to avoid scratching both the oven and the grates. Once that's done, you can clean everything with a slightly damp sponge, reposition the grates, and you'll have a shiny oven and stove.
